I understand my blabby Grandpa put something on Facebook about me being in the hospital. I warned him about my privacy! However, it is true. I was in a hospital. Boy, it seems like just 3 months ago I was in another hospital - getting born! Anyhow, shortly after I was born the doctors thought I need a little "tweak" in my heart chambers. Something about getting the pressure changed just a bit. My Mommy was freaking out, and the doctor told her this was not that uncommon and the procedure to fix it was just an overnight visit at the University of Minnesota's Children's Hospital.
To me, it was just like taking a nap. When I woke up, I was hungry! For some reason, they did not let Mommy give me my morning breakfast! But don't worry - I made up for it. I was drinking milk and formula as fast as you could say "slow down big boy!"
In any event, just before we left to go home to the cats, I did what I do the best - I charmed the hospital staff. My Grandma always tells me I am going to be a "lady killer". Heck, I don't want to hurt anyone! I just want to eat, sleep, and charm.
Well I have to go now. Thanks for all the good wishes! I really am doing well right now. Next stop on my life adventure will be my Baptism next month. Then I will be old enough for Mommy to have me outside with the new sun hat Grandma bought me. Life is good for sure. More later!
Hi! Cash Robert here! Today we had Easter with my family. I know - last week was also Easter. My Aunt Brit had to work last Sunday so she missed out on the real Easter. That was the day grandma and grandpa took us out to a thing called "brunch". So Aunt Brit figured it was Orthodox Easter today and that might work out. In any event, after a week at day camp, it was good to be back at grandma and grandpa's. PLUS - the big bonus was having my Aunt Brit here!
It was a goofy time for sure. Lots of silly stories, some Raffi, some Johnny Cash, and lots of loving. Then, my Aunt Brit grabbed me and put me in this thing called a "baby wrap". Mommy had to supervise how it was tied as she did not want me falling on the floor! Once I was in it, I could not move an inch as my arms and legs were captive. I felt like I was under arrest! In any event, even though this was not the real Easter we celebrated, it was a good day. Now we are driving home through this terrible storm and then I will get to "dress down" for the day. Jammies, here I come! Talk to you soon! Time for another nap....
Well it will be nice to get to my new day camp today just to relax! I am thinking I will be napping a bit more than normal. Yesterday, after my much needed morning feeding, Mommy and Daddy got me "dressed to the nines" and we had a big day out.
First things first. We met Grandma and Grandpa at this fancy restaurant close to where I live. It was called rock house or rock woods or something like that. I guess they do this every Easter after this thing called church. In any event, I was tired and slept through brunch. No big deal as I could not eat that type of food anyhow. Me? I am just a milk guy!
Then it was over to see some cousins I had not seen as yet. That was great, as the cousins are both gals and made a big fuss over me. Speaking of fuss, that is what I decided to for a bit - get fussy. We stayed for awhile and then headed over to see my other Grandma and Grandpa so my Mommy and Daddy could have some more adult food. And then home. FINALLY!
Anyhow, it was a big day but a good day. Hope you all had a great Easter also! I will write later this week about my new day camp! TTFN!
Hi friends! Baby Bird Cash here. Well my vacation time with Mommy is just about up. Yep. It is back to work for her very soon. And I will start my new adventure of meeting new kids at the day camp she is taking me to. I will miss Mommy doting over me. I will miss my VERY frequent trips to Grandma and Grandpa's house. How frequent? Most every day! They say they like having me over, even when I am fussy. And when I poop in my diaper (which can be often).
I have a very good friend named Brexton. Mommy says he is like a BFF, whatever that means! He is about my age and we have quite a bit of fun together. My grandpa says Brexton is the most smiley kid he has ever seen. Brexton does smile quite a bit for sure. But I can smirk! And I can do it well!
So when I start day camp on Monday, I will be wearing my smirk. I hear the ladies love it! I am hoping there are some ladies there about my age. If not, I hope I can make another friend like Brexton. Anyhow, HAPPY EASTER everyone! I will write more after I start day camp. TTFN!
Ha! I knew I could get you with this one! I am going for my first haircut tomorrow. No - not one hair off my bald head will be touched. However, my Grandpa (who always looks like he needs a good grooming), my Grandma (who always looks good), and my Mommy (who is back to work on Monday), are going to be the victims. I am VERY anxious to meet Grandma and Grandpa's friend Kristie tomorrow. Both Mommy and I have heard quite a bit about her!
Mommy and I stayed for a visit and then supper and my Grandparents. Both Mommy and I were dodging raindrops and lightning after dinner when we left. I have never seen rain before. Guess what! Rain is wet! And all that thunder - it can be loud! Well, home for a quick diaper change, another bottle and then more sleep. I don't understand why the big people have to work around the house or outside of the house. Why can't we all just eat, sleep and ... never mind. TTFN!
